Bukayo Saka’s England teammates seem to love him already, regardless of their club rivalries away from the national team.

Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka won Player of the Match with England earlier this week, after a starring performance against Ireland. He drew a penalty and played a part in plenty of other dangerous chances as the team eased to a 3-0 victory.
The response to Saka’s individual award was very positive from his teammates. Raheem Sterling seemed particularly happy to see the teenager thriving.

Sterling wasn’t the only one of Saka’s England teammates to show the young star some love in the replies.

Even Saka’s North London rivals are getting along well with him. In October, we saw footage of Eric Dier joking around with the Arsenal academy graduate.

This month, Saka talked about the influence of Harry Kane in helping him settle as well. He said: “Kane put his arm around me, he spoke to me and asked me how I was.
“For him to do that, it helped me settle in much quicker and made me feel comfortable to be myself around everyone.
“That helps me not just off the pitch but also on the pitch too, because I feel like I can be myself, express myself, and play with the confidence that I play with back at my club.”

Saka is clearly just so easy to love that no one can help but get along with him. That’s good news for the future, as Gareth Southgate can have no doubts that the 19-year-old’s presence might unsettle the group.
