Back in the Europa League and looking to top the group, here’s our Arsenal injury news for Molde on Thursday.
Arsenal have unfortunately picked up a few new problems in the last week or so.
Mohamed Elneny and Sead Kolasinac are unavailable after testing positive for Covid-19. Meanwhile, Bukayo Saka and Willian are new absentees after picking up injuries against Leeds United.
Saka’s dead leg is nothing serious, and Arsenal confirm he’ll be back this weekend, but he’s out of Thursday’s game. Willian will also miss Molde, and he’ll ‘be assessed’ ahead of Sunday.
Thomas Partey also won’t make it back for Thursday, and he’s currently only doing gym work and rehabilitation, rather than rejoining full training. So his participation this weekend is doubtful.
David Luiz is available again after missing the last game for the birth of his child. Calum Chambers is no longer on the injury list at all, as he builds his match sharpness with the Arsenal u23s.
Pablo Mari is finally integrating into full training again. Gabriel Martinelli is also getting closer, working well in group sessions and aiming to rejoin squad sessions in the next two weeks.
