The good news from Arsenal’s latest update is that Pablo Mari is finally integrating into full training again. Gabriel Martinelli is also getting closer, working well in group sessions and aiming to rejoin squad sessions in the next two weeks.

Arsenal recently had to deal with Reiss Nelson’s minor knee injury, exclusively revealed by us. The club confirmed he had a knock and bruising to his right knee, but he’s back fit again now. Emile Smith Rowe is also fit again after his recent injury problems.

Thomas Partey is also out with a new injury to his thigh, picked up against Aston Villa. It initially looked like he might return in time for Sunday, but Arsenal have since confirmed he’s unavailable for the Leeds match.

Calum Chambers is in full training, and he played for the Arsenal u21s recently. However, he only completed 45 minutes, and you’d imagine they’ll try and get him a full 90 before reintegrating with the first-team – after so long out.

In other team news, Mohamed Elneny and Sead Kolasinac are unavailable after testing positive for Covid-19.

Martinelli, Partey, Mari, and Chambers are all likely to miss the Leeds clash through injury and/or rehabilitation, whilst Elneny and Kolasinac will miss out through infection. Nelson should be in line to feature if called upon.

Although Smith Rowe is fit, he played for the u23s on Friday. That doesn’t completely rule him out of the Leeds game though, as he came off after 45 minutes. We’ll see whether that was to allow him to feature this weekend.
