Despite having months to complete a deal for Thomas Partey for his release clause of €45m, Arsenal have waited until deadline day to complete a deal for Thoms Partey for his release clause of €45m.

They have now paid the full fee to La Liga and are free to sign Thomas.

The player reportedly had a medical in Spain and now, according to the reliable Romano, is currently on a flight to London.

No doubt an Arsenal fan will find his flight and we’ll all be able to track it likes stalkers.

As Partey has a release clause, Arsenal did not have to deal with Atletico Madrid. All they had to do was go to La Liga, plop down the cash and then they could talk to Thomas to sort out personal terms.

It also seems like the 27-year-old has agreed a four-year deal

He will have the second part of his medical at London Colney before signing and posing for some snaps.
