The Brazilian forward is not expected to return before the end of the calendar year but seeing him on the training field will warm the hearts of Gooners everywhere.

Only Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and, thanks to his superb strike against Dundalk on Thursday night Nicolas Pepe, have scored more goals than Martinelli in 2020 for Arsenal.

Martinelli has 10.
