Arsenal still hold an interest in three of their pre-summer targets for upcoming windows, but it all depends on how the season goes now.

Football.London report that despite the interest in Houssem Aouar this summer, Arsenal have other targets for future transfer windows.

For the creative midfield role, they remain on the case of Dominik Szoboszlai. Scouts regularly watch the player in Red Bull Salzburg games and view him as someone who can operate in more central areas than his current role on the left. However, Napoli and RB Leipzig are also in the race.

Up front, Arsenal are looking at Patson Daka and Odsonne Edouard. They didn’t make a move over the summer, with Alexandre Lacazette remaining at the club with no serious bids to tempt him away. But that could change next year.

All this depends on how this season goes. Arsenal can’t use the Amatic slots for real money like you can. But if fans return soon, the team shoot up the table and qualify for the Champions League, as well as going deep in the cup competitions and the Europa League, they’ll have a lot more to spend.

If they finish as low in the league table as last season without any fans in the stands and don’t even end up with a trophy, next summer’s business will be tricky.

Given the decent start to the season and the addition of Thomas Partey, we hope that won’t happen. But it’s up to Mikel Arteta and the players now.
