Arsenal are reportedly in talks with Rennes about sending William Saliba back to France on loan.
“For many reasons, that wasn’t the transition year that he needed because he had a lot of injuries, some personal injuries and also with COVID and the French league getting cancelled, he didn’t have that year.
“He needs that year of transition and we are trying to make the right decisions for him to give him the best transitional year for him to have the player we want in our future.”
#afc Per reports in France overnight, interest in Saliba from Rennes is genuine. Arsenal not agreed anything and set to decide what to do with youngster.

Rennes will play in the Champions League this season and it is believed they want to beef up their squad at the back.
Ouest-France report that Rennes now see Saliba as a better option than Daniele Rugani who has been heavily linked with a move from Juventus to Ligue 1 and was said to be close to a €2m loan move himself.
