Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang helped Arsenal to win the FA Cup with his goals in the semi-final and final against Manchester City and Chelsea respectively, but it was in the Premier League where his goals were most valuable.

The thought of where Arsenal would have finished without his 22 league goals is enough to make you vomit.

Overall, the 31-year-old scored 29 goals for Arsenal in 44 games with three assists and deserves his place in the PFA Team of the Year.

Arsenal had three players named in the FA WSL Team of the Year with Leah Williamson, Kim Little and Vivianne Miedema claiming a place:

Bukayo Saka, unfortunately, missed out on the Young Player of the Year award as it went to Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold which is hard to argue with give the 12 months he’s had:

Manchester City’s Lauren Hemp won the women’s Young Player of the Year with no Arsenal player in contention for the award:

Kim Little missed out as Chelsea’s Bethany England was named PFA Player’s Player of the Year;

The men’s Player’s Player of the Year award went to Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne:

The PFA Merit award went deservedly to Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford for his campaigning to help end child food poverty.
