Three Arsenal players have been named in the FA WSL Team of the Year with Leah Williamson, Kim Little and Vivianne Miedema claiming a place.

The PFA Awards took place on Tuesday 8 September 2020 and Arsenal were well represented in the FA WSL Team of the Year even if they didn’t manage to pick up any of the individual awards.
Up top, Vivianne Miedema enjoyed an excellent season in 19/20 as the stand out forward across the league, seemingly scoring or assisting with every touch.
She scored 16 goals in 14 games with eight assists in 19/20 (and already has two in one this season).

Kim Little, for her part, scored five from midfield and assisted two in 12 games as Arsenal captain. She already has one in one so far this season herself.
Leah Williamson continued her excellent form at the back for the club and even managed to score one and assist three. She played 15 games and didn’t receive a single booking.

It is notable, and also a little sad, that all spots in the Team of the Year were taken up by players from the top three sides – Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal.
Manchester City’s Lauren Hemp won the women’s Young Player of the Year with no Arsenal player in contention for the award:

Kim Little missed out as Chelsea’s Bethany England was named PFA Player’s Player of the Year:
