Mohamed Elneny is still deciding on his future with Arsenal, and his agent is in Turkey fielding multiple offers for a return to the Süper Lig.

ExtraSport chief editor and former Goal editor Ahmed Atta reports (via Chris Wheatley) that Mohamed Elneny has offers from Galatasaray and Trabzonspor. He is still deciding his future for the coming season, but his agent is over in Turkey.

Elneny spent last season on loan, seemingly winding down his Arsenal career. He made 36 appearances for Besiktas and mostly played well. Some financial disputes with the club meant a return was always unlikely, though.

Still, he’s made himself a valuable player in Turkey. Hence the new offers for him from the Süper Lig.

Surprisingly, the loan even earned Elneny a second chance in the Arsenal first-team. He started in the Community Shield win over Liverpool and the 3-0 Premier League victory over Fulham to kick off the season.

But Atta previously suggested he believes Elneny’s future will depend on the potential signing of Thomas Partey. If the Gunners bring in the Atletico Madrid midfielder, it’s hard to see a role for Elneny in the current side.
