Arsenal opened their 20/21 season by thumping Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage in Saturday’s early kick-off with Willian and Gabriel superb.

Ahead of what seems to be an impending move away from the club, Mikel Arteta left Emi Martinez out of the squad altogether.

There was also no place for William Saliba nor Mesut Ozil with Dani Ceballos only making the bench.

The surprise was seeing Gabriel start but the Brazilian impressed, even if you forget about his debut goal. As did Lacazette who scored the opening Premier League goal of the season for the second time (he also did it in 2017).

He also showed that he probably has been listening to Arteta, netting away from home.

The star of the show, however, was the other new boy who started – Willian, who grabbed three assists.
