Troy Deeney has apologised to his family in advance that he will take Watford’s relegation out on them at home by smashing objects and throwing some stuff around and this is NOT OK!

Deeney, who once again shows who he really is by calling on his teammates to be ‘man enough’ to accept they weren’t good enough to stay in the Premier League needs to turn some of that insight on himself.

Here is a man who seems to judge his manhood by how angry he can get and how hard he can kick others, so it’s perhaps not surprising to hear him basically admit he’s a bully who has no problem at all terrifying his wife and children.

Of course, I have no way of knowing if that’s how his family will feel but, generally, when men get angry and smash things around the house, their wife and kids don’t tend to feel super happy about it.

“It [relegation] hurts,” Deeney said as reported in Tuesday’s Daily Mirror. “Maybe I’m not going to show it, but it’s the missus and the kids who will see it over the next two weeks, so I apologise to them in advance.

“I’m not going to sit around and sulk. I will throw a few things, probably smash a few things, replace them, and go again.”

Does he really think this is an acceptable way to behave around his family that includes children?

Clearly, he does because he’s all over the Daily Mirror talking about it like it’s not an issue.

The ‘journalist’ covering his quotes, along with his editor and sub-editor, don’t seem to have an problem with it either.

Here’s the Daily Mirror talking about Deeney having a ‘smashing time’ because it’s all just a laugh…

Reading the article in full, you notice they didn’t ask his wife or kids how they felt about it all.

Sure, what’s the harm? It’s only a few objects and he said he’d replace them, right?

The inability to control your temper does not ‘make you a man’, it makes you a menace.

Sort yourself out, Troy.

This is your worst look yet.
