RMC Sport (via GFFN) report that Aouchiche informed PSG Sporting Director Leonardo this week that he won’t extend his contract with them, and he’ll leave the club when the deal expires this month.

Signing a new deal in Paris was reportedly the player’s initial goal, but he decided against it after assessing his potential for game-time in the upcoming season. He didn’t want a third consecutive season with the PSG u19s.

Despite all the recent rumours, Aouchiche reportedly hasn’t made a decision on his future. He’ll choose the best sporting project for him, looking for immediate first-team opportunities. He doesn’t intend to rush the transfer process.

Aouchiche reportedly wants a €4m signing-on fee from PSG and €25,000-a-week. He held talks with Saint-Etienne about a move, among other clubs. The fee probably wouldn’t represent a major obstacle for Arsenal, but they’d have to convince him he’d play.

The versatile midfielder scored nine goals in five matches at last year’s u17 European Championship. He made his senior PSG debut this season, scoring in one of his three appearances.
