Jordi Osei-Tutu and Konstantinos Mavropanos are the first members of Arsenal’s extended squad to get the chance to play again. While English football waits for an official return date, the 2. Bundesliga returns alongside the Bundesliga this weekend.

First up, Osei-Tutu will have the chance to start against Heidenheim on Saturday at 12:00 BST. In the UK, the match only appears to be live on Bet365 as things stand. Internationally, you can check LiveSoccerTV for full listings.

Then, Mavropanos may well get a start for FC Nurnberg away to St. Pauli on Sunday at 12:30 BST. Again, the match is live on Bet365 in the UK and check LiveSoccerTV for international listings.

Mavropanos was actually carrying an injury before the suspension of German football. However, he was already closing in on a return, and he hinted on Instagram a couple of weeks ago that he’s fit and ready again.

It’s good news for the two of them that they can start playing again. Osei-Tutu struggled for a consistent run in the team with Bochum, but he started to find form before the shutdown.

Mavropanos was in excellent form himself, but just needs a run of games to overcome his injury problems. We’ll keep an eye on them both this weekend and report back on their performances.
