Barcelona are putting nine players on their transfer list for loans or permanent moves, including a few Arsenal targets past and present.

The Mirror claim Barcelona are informing Premier League clubs that as many as nine players are available on loan deals or permanent transfers this summer, including a few Arsenal targets.

The La Liga leaders are reportedly desperate to raise funds through the transfer market this summer. As a result, they’re putting the following players up for offers:

  • Antoine Griezmann
  • Luis Suarez
  • Ousmane Dembele
  • Ivan Rakitic
  • Arturo Vidal
  • Samuel Umtiti
  • Nelson Semedo
  • Sergi Roberto
  • Philippe Coutinho

There’s no chance of Arsenal going in for some of the biggest names on the list, like Antoine Griezmann and Luis Suarez. Right now, they need money as much as (or more than) Barcelona, so they could never afford those deals.

Some of them are players the media already linked Arsenal to recently, though.

Dembele’s transfer value is reportedly less than half what they bought him for, with Diario Sport claiming that’s drawing the Gunners in. Arsenal also apparently contacted Umtiti’s representatives this season over a move.

Then there’s Coutinho, regularly linked with a move to Arsenal this season. If the rumours of Barcelona’s willingness to sell are true, and Raul Sanllehi finds a stack of cash somewhere, those three seem like the most likely targets.

Alternatively, it’s not hard to imagine Barca loaning Coutinho or Dembele out. Perhaps that’s a more realistic option.
