Arsenal are one of two Premier League clubs to reach out to Julian Draxler as Paris Saint-Germain push the 26-year-old out the door, according to reports.

That’s right, the Draxler rumours are back, with Fussball Transfers claiming Arsenal and another Premier League club reached out to the player over a summer transfer.

PSG are reportedly actively looking to move the German international on this summer. They tried offering him out to RB Leipzig, but the Bundesliga club didn’t need him and couldn’t afford his wages.

The player himself wants to stay, at least until the end of his contract in 2021. He turned down a transfer to AC Milan in January. However, PSG will see this as their last chance to recoup some of the money they spent on him.

Plus, the situation might be different now, with the Euros moving to 2021. Draxler might consider moving on if he can play regularly and push to make the German national squad.

As mentioned, FT claim Arsenal reached out to Draxler, though that’s as far as it goes right now. This is the latest of many, many links between the two in the last half a decade. They’ve never led to anything before, and that probably won’t change this summer.
