Kike Marin is hinting that Arsenal could be in for AFC Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser, with the player available for free this summer.

Recent reports suggest Arsenal believe they’re leading the chase to sign Ryan Fraser, and Kike Marin is hinting the rumours are true.

Fraser’s contract expires on July 1st, depending on whether he gets a short-term extension to complete the current season. Either way, it seems likely he’s on the way out as soon as the next transfer window actually opens.

Marin wrote a cryptic message on Twitter, saying: “Yes, it is Ryan Fraser, Scottish winger of Bournemouth, who is free at the end of the season… #Arsenal”

Last summer, plenty of outlets reported on Arsenal’s apparent interest in Fraser. In the end, the club signed Nicolas Pepe instead, and didn’t push to complete the deal. It’s very possible Arsenal just figured they’d rather pick Fraser up for free in 2020.

Fraser clearly believed there was something in it, admitting in January that the links left him distracted. He only reached one goal and four assists this season before the football shutdown. It’s worth keeping an eye on his form in the remainder of the season.
