As we all know too well, Serge Gnabry left Arsenal for Bayern Munich (via Werder Bremen) a few years ago now. This season, he made a lot of Arsenal fans happy at his new club, by scoring all six of his Champions League goals against Spurs and Chelsea.

Gnabry doesn’t hide the fact he still cares for his old club and former teammates. Though he plays in the Bundesliga now, he popped up in Bayern’s latest Facebook video wearing the Arsenal 2019/20 away kit.

Watch the clip from around 1:35 in the below video:

To be honest, who can blame Gnabry for snapping up that kit this year? The shirt is a fan-favourite, earning praise even from non-Arsenal fans. It’s nice to see a former player publicly showing their affiliation though.

After winning Bayern’s player of the year award last campaign, Gnabry is having another strong season. He got up to 18 goals and 11 assists in 33 appearances before the Bundesliga suspension.

He was also only midway through the Champions League tie with Chelsea. Whether we’ll ever see the conclusion of that tie remains to be seen.
