The Mirror claim Borussia Dortmund are eyeing Bukayo Saka for a summer transfer. His impressive start to life in the Premier League caught their eye, along with Bayern Munich.

Liverpool and Manchester United are also both in for the 18-year-old, according to previous reports. Personally, I think it’s very unlikely he goes to Liverpool, for a number of reasons. United could well put pressure on contract negotiations, though.

Obviously, Arsenal are still hoping to sign him up to an extension. They aren’t in talks currently, but you’d expect them to start discussing improved terms once everyone returns to the club.

Saka’s current contract expires in 2021. He earns somewhere between £5,000 and £7,000 a week, depending on which source you believe. Either way, he’s clearly outgrowing those wages.

The left-winger turned left-back is up to 29 senior appearances for the season. Only seven players in the whole squad have made more, and none more than 33 in all competitions. He’s going to get a payrise somewhere, let’s just hope it’s in North London.
