Greek outlet Efsyn (via Sport Witness) report that Arsenal and Wolves hold an interest in Ba, the defender they’ve both seen their teams come up against recently.

Ba now has Stellar Group as his agency, who also represent Arsenal defenders Kieran Tierney and Rob Holding. He’s previously drawn the attention of Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid.

According to the report, Olympiacos would want around €20m to ratify a sale.

Ba is 24 years old, and he currently has a contract until 2023. He is up to 18 appearances for the season, and on a particularly good run in 2020. He has eight clean sheets in 13 games since the turn of the year, not missing a single match.

As you may remember from the Arsenal tie – assuming you haven’t blocked it from your memory entirely – Ba has a good physical presence, standing at around 6’4″ and showing strength in tackles. He’s from Senegal, but he is yet to make his international debut.
