Tyreece John-Jules recently picked up a foot injury on loan with Lincoln City, during a friendly match with Sheffield United. At first, it didn’t seem like anything serious, but a later scan revealed a fracture to the tarsal bone.

As a result, John-Jules had to cut his loan short, returning to Arsenal. He’s back with the club at London Colney now, working on his recovery in a protective boot.

John-Jules made a good start to his first spell in senior football. He did well on his Lincoln debut despite lacking a goal, but he then scored and made two goalline clearances in his first home game.

After that, he went a few games without a goal. That wasn’t for lack of trying, hitting the woodwork in his final league game and getting unlucky as a defender used his hand to prevent a clear goalscoring opportunity without getting caught.
