Mesut Ozil is a busy man away from the pitch with a number of charitable endeavours and he’s been tweeting about his most recent moves aimed at promoting gender equality, teamwork as well as off-pitch initiatives focusing on clean water and recycling.
Mesut Ozil’s charitable work gets little-to-no coverage in the UK press. Like so much with the enigmatic midfielder, they just tend to ignore it unless it suits their ‘lazy’ agenda.
