Ebiowei came on for the Rangers u18s in their match against Aberdeen on Friday, playing the second half. The game was a little in the balance, after the home side scored right before and after half-time to bring it back from 4-0 to 4-2.

Aberdeen had the best of the chances for much of the second half, but Ebiowei set up Chris McKee to make it 5-2 in the 76th minute. A couple of minutes later, the former Arsenal academy youngster slotted away a penalty. The match finished 6-2.

Ebiowei had made a couple of earlier appearances for his new club’s u18s. He started in the Scottish Youth Cup semi-final against Aberdeen and the league defeat to Fife Elite. This was his first win with the team though, as well as his first goal contributions.

It’s a shame the talented youngster couldn’t have stay with Arsenal a bit longer. The u18s could’ve used a player like him given their recent form, and they did give him his debut earlier in the campaign. Unfortunately, other factors led to his exit.
