The Premier League announced their nominations for both the Player of the Month and Manager of the Month February awards on Friday, with Aubameyang and Arteta featuring in their respective categories.

Aubameyang scored three goals in three games in February’s Premier League matches. He joins Marcos Alonso, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Matt Doherty, Bruno Fernandes and Nick Pope in the running.

Obviously, the Manchester United fans are going to spam the vote for their new signing, so feel free to do the same for Aubameyang here.

As for manager of the month, Arteta joins Sean Dyche, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Chris Wilder. He led Arsenal to two wins and two clean sheets in their three games last month.

Of the managerial nominees, no one had a perfect month. Arteta had the joint-best winning percentage though, the joint-best goal difference and his team scored the most goals. Again, you can vote for Arteta here.

Whether they win or not, it’s great to see nominations for the pair. Aubameyang already won one award back in September and would become the first player to win two this season if he collects it again in February.

For Arteta, it would be welcome early recognition of his start as a manager.
