Yes indeedy, Graeme Souness, here we are again. When you can’t think of any new words to say, let’s just repeat the same old tired nonsense and hope nobody notices.

Speaking after Arsenal thrashed Newcastle 4-nil on Sunday and Mesut Ozil had the temerity to score a (record-setting, 11-man, 35-pass) goal, Graeme Souness still couldn’t stop himself from calling Ozil lazy.
"If he had a different attitude he'd still be at Real Madrid"

“Does he bust a gut? No he doesn’t. Does he do the hard yards?” that’s what Souness asked with disdain.
Somebody should tell the Sky Sports dinosaur there are these things called stats out there to help him out.
Ozil ran 10.7km today. Only Xhaka ran the more of Arsenal players with 10.8km https://t.co/cjGYqjNQUL

It’s almost as if the pundits who accuse Ozil of not doing the work and thinking he can just turn up and collect his wages are involved in some sort of self-projection.
Curious, eh?
