Arsenal took on Blackburn on Saturday in their Premier League National Cup semi-final, and most of the usual suspects ended up on the scoresheet for the talented young side.

Star striker Khayon Edwards added to his ever-growing tally, whilst Omari Hutchinson and Marcelo Flores both scored as well, with Flores netting from an indirect free-kick routine.

Midfielder Mauro Bandeira was the fourth goalscorer on the day. Bandeira, Edwards and Hutchinson added assists to their tallies as well. Arsenal won the match 4-1.

As a result, the Gunners are now in the final. They reached this stage last year as well, back when Miguel Azeez and Yunus Musah were leading the charge. Unfortunately, despite a fantastic goal from Azeez in that final, they lost out to Chelsea.

With any luck, the young side can go one further this season and lift the trophy. For now, we’ll have to wait for specifics on the date, location and opponent in the final.
