Le10Sport report that the operation to bring Gabriel Magalhaes to the Premier League could cost a prospective buyer €30m this summer. They claim Arsenal, Everton and now Leicester City are all in for the centre-back. From Ligue 1, PSG also hold an interest.

Based on previous comments from the player, the English teams could have an advantage. Magalhaes told the media in France he doesn’t know if he’ll join Arsenal, but he’d love to play in the Premier League.

The Athletic first seriously reported Arsenal’s interest in the defender. They named the Gunners as one of several clubs paying close attention to him. A January move was difficult given their preference for a loan deal though.

For the record, this isn’t the first time the media have put a price tag on Magalhaes. The S*n claimed he’d cost £30m, whilst Duncan Castles went even higher at £40-45m.

At the moment, it’s mostly looking like guesswork. When we know how he finishes the season and which clubs are really in for him, then we can get a serious idea of his value.
