The Daily Mail claim Manchester United join Arsenal in scouting Jude Bellingham, sending assistant manager Mike Phelan to watch the teenager recently. The Gunners are also following the youngster, according to reports last month.

The Telegraph claimed Arsenal had sent scouts to watch Bellingham during the first half of the season. They also mentioned Chelsea, Manchester City and Bournemouth among those following the Birmingham youngster.

Bellingham only turned 16 over the summer, but he’s up to 22 appearances for Birmingham’s senior side. Playing in various positions in midfield, the England u17 international has three goals and an assist so far. He even scored in his first Championship start.

Arsenal and United are always on the hunt for young talent to add to their ranks. It’s not surprising they’d both keep an eye on such a talented prospect featuring regularly in the second tier.

Perhaps the January window is too soon for a move, as Bellingham is getting good minutes and chances to develop his game right now. You never know if a transfer and loan back could be on the cards though.
