Italian outlet SportMediaset report Arsenal and Everton are closely following Adrien Rabiot with a January move in mind. They claim Rabiot’s performances aren’t convincing Juventus so far, which is why they’ll consider an offer between €25m and €30m.

One factor at play is Juventus’ move for 19-year-old Dejan Kulusevski. They reportedly have a deal worth €35m to sign the Atalanta man, currently on loan with Parma.

The big question now is whether they end the loan early to bring the player in immediately, or wait until summer. If they push for a deal immediately, then Rabiot is more likely to leave to fund the transfer.

Previous reports suggest Mikel Arteta and Rabiot spoke recently about a potential move. Arsenal are looking at him as a potential replacement for Granit Xhaka.

At the time, the main issue was that Juventus didn’t have much motivation to sell. Perhaps that could change if they need the money to push through the Kulusevski deal in January.
