David Ornstein has tweeted to say that Arsenal have agreed a deal with Flamengo for Pablo Mari.
The deal, which was on and then off again over the weekend seemed to be revived at the start of this week.
Flamengo purchased a replacement and there were reports the player was refusing to train in order to force through a move to Arsenal.
Now, it seems he’s got his wish…
Arsenal agree deal with Flamengo to sign 26y Spaniard Pablo Mari on loan + option to buy. Fulfils Arteta request for left-footed centre-back. #AFC could make 1 more loan signing before deadline. Indication is Mustafi has ankle sprain so not as serious as 1st feared @TheAthleticUk

The price is believed to be somewhere between £10m and £13m with Arsenal wanting to pay the lower amount and Flamengo reportedly increasing their demands late into the deal, causing the hitches we saw this weekend.
According to the usual craziness that is Twitter, Mari is said to be on his way, with some people already tracking what they think is his plane.
