Arsenal have reportedly told Dani Ceballos he will not be allowed to cut short his loan in London to return to Spain.

I wonder if Dani Ceballos will ever be happy?

Unhappy at Real Madrid, he moved to London for a year where he seemed to find some sunshine in his life, at least for around five minutes when he played well in that one game way back at the start of the season.

He was so good in that match that there was talk of Zidane recalling him and Real Madrid fans being furious that he was allowed to leave in the first place.

Now, people mostly seem to have forgotten he exists.

Back on the bench for the game against Manchester United after injury, he’s yet to see a minute of gametime under Mikel Arteta, although given his problems when Arteta took over, that’s hardly the manager’s fault.

With just 906 minutes under his belt this season, Ceballos allegedly wants to return to Spain or go somewhere else on loan.

Arsenal have said ‘no’ according to AS in Spain.
