Arsenal have reportedly started talks with PSG’s left-back, Layvin Kurzawa, who is out of contract in the summer, over a 5-year-deal.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are trying to find cover for Kieran Tierney out for at least another two months with his shoulder injury.

However, according to the original report from France from which rumour seems to have emerged, talks are regarding a free move in the summer which would strongly hint at selling Sead Kolasinac rather than moving for short-term Kierney cover.

RMC, though, do not rule out a move during this window which would require a fee from Arsenal, something they are keen to avoid where possible.

The 27-year-old PSG man signed for them from Monaco in 2015 and can play all along the left-side.

It’s not clear how much Arsenal would have to pay for the France international if they were to sign him this month but with his contract expiring in just a few months any fee would be nominal at this point.

Discussions centre around a five-year deal with the defender keen on a move to England to continue his career.

Mikel Arteta has, reportedly, ‘validated’ Arsenal’s move for him.
