Arsenal face Leeds United in the first game of their 2019/20 FA Cup campaign in January, with the draw handing them a home tie against Championship opponents.

Cup ties always have higher percentage allocations for away fans. The matches are one-off opportunities to visit the ground of one of the country’s top clubs, after all.

Arsenal offered Leeds 8,000 tickets, but if the away side didn’t take them all up, the Gunners could redistribute them to home supporters.

Given the match is on a Monday night and Leeds is quite a way up north, that didn’t seem unlikely. However, the Leeds fans have now bought out their allocation. 5,000 will sit in the Clock End lower tier, with the remaining 3,000 in the upper.

That should make for a good atmosphere at the game. Unfortunately for Leeds, Arsenal loanee Eddie Nketiah can’t feature against his parent club. That’s if the Gunners don’t recall him anyway, per recent rumours.
