The Bristol Post report that Arsenal are planning to recall Nketiah from Leeds in the next couple of days. The club aren’t happy with the way the last four months went, and they want to loan the striker to a club where he’ll play more regularly.

Bristol City are keen. They hope the pitch they made to Arsenal in the summer has them in a good position ahead of January. Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday are also watching the situation closely. Brentford and Bristol are favourites.

Football.London suggest German club Fortuna Dusseldorf are also in the running. Like Bristol, they held talks with Arsenal in the summer. The London outlet add that the club only made the decision to recall Nketiah in recent days.

Nketiah had an injury in November, which also hurt his chances at Leeds. He got his first Championship start over the weekend, after 15 substitute appearances. If he leaves, he’ll do so as Leeds’ second-top scorer this season.
