Estadio Deportivo report that after interest from Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Liverpool in the past, Arsenal are now the team threatening to take Zarzana away from Sevilla.

The Gunners set their eyes on the left-footed midfielder after his impressive performances for the Spain u18s at the Algarve International Tournament.

Right now, Zarzana is still a way off first-team football. With his current club, the teenager is yet to start for Sevilla Atletico, Sevilla’s reserve team. He did make his debut from the bench in May of last year though, aged 16.

Sevilla are also in great form at the moment. They’re third in La Liga and football prediction statistics have them down to win their next couple of games. It’s tough for reserve players to break in at times like these, and that has a knock-on effect on the younger teams.

If Arsenal think Zarzana is a good talent though, there’s no better time to move.

Perhaps current Arsenal youth left-back Joel Lopez could put in a good word. The Spanish teenagers follow each other on Instagram after playing together for the Spain u17s in the past.
