Taylor Foran has become the latest Arsenal youngster to be offered a scholarship with the club, with the Gunners not wasting time on handing deals to their talented u16 prospects.
Last week, star u16 striker Khayon Edwards confirmed he had received a scholarship offer with Arsenal, and we exclusively revealed that he intends to take it up.
Edwards isn’t the only one to get an offer though. Defender Taylor Foran posted on his Instagram story: “Thank you to everyone who has helped me along my journey and I’m happy to say that I’ve been offered my scholarship at Arsenal! The hard work and graft continues!”
Foran captained an Arsenal side to victory at the JSSL Professional Academy 7s tournament in Singapore back in April, before joining the u18 pre-season tour over the summer.
Since then, Foran’s been back with the u16s as they’ve made a fantastic start to the season, most recently winning 5-0 against Fulham at the weekend. He also featured heavily as the u16s finished third at the recent Istria Youth Cup against clubs from all over the world.
One of the leaders in a young side that’s doing so well at the moment, it’s great to see Foran getting the scholarship offer to motivate him to push on even further. Good luck to him for the remainder of the campaign.
