Only Liverpool and Manchester City have won more games at home than Arsenal since Unai Emery arrived.

Unai Emery’s league team plays rubbish football while in the cups he excites. No matter what way he sets up his team, however, there’s one things for sure – they usually win at home.

This, of course, isn’t unique to Emery. Under Wenger our home form was also very good.

As it should be.

Still, as Arsenal somehow crept into third place this weekend, one point behind City, I’m attempting to be less negative about Emery’s own negativity, to highlight the positives.

This is certainly one of them.

We now head into an international break on the back of a win, moving us to one point within third (did I mention that?) while Manchester United sit two points above the relegation zone and Tottenham ponder their latest humiliation.
