Arsenal’s women’s team are currently on an international break like the men’s team so I thought it time we had a look at how the stats are lining up for the players this season.

Arsenal have played five games in all competitions so far, winning all five while scoring 13 and conceding just one.

Immense form.

Stats for the women’s game aren’t as easy to come by as for the men’s, so I was delighted to see that fbref.com has a quite decent women’s section.

Only four players have played the full 270 minutes in the league this season – Jennifer Beattie, captain Kim Little, Leonie Maier, and Katie McCabe.

10 players have featured in all three league matches – those listed above plus Leah Williamson, Lisa Evans, Beth Mead, Danielle van de Donk, Jill Roord, and Jordan Nobbs.

Nine players have played all five games for Arsenal this season but only three have played all 450 minutes – Jennifer Beattie, Kim Little, and Katie McCabe.

Seven different players have scored for Arsenal in all competitions – Kim Little (3), Lisa Evans (1), Beth Mead (1), Danielle van de Donk (2), Jill Roord (1), Vivianne Miedema (4), and Jordan Nobbs (1).

But only four players have grabbed at least one assist – Kim Little (1), Lisa Evans (2), Beth Mead (2), Vivianne Miedema (3).

Last season, Miedema finished with 22 goals and 11 assist in 20 games. This season she has four goals and three assists in four games (315 minutes).

Arsenal have picked up six yellows so far – Leonie Maier, Danielle van de Donk, Jill Roord (2), Manuela Zinsberger, and Viktoria Schnaderbeck have all been booked.

Of all the players to see action, Louise Quinn has seen the least with just 16 minutes across two games. Lia Walti with 23 minutes in one match and Emma Mitchell with 24 across two are next. No other player has played fewer than 180 minutes.
