Bukayo Saka won a penalty for England on Thursday with an excellent run, as the Arsenal youth players started their international break strongly.
The England u19s were the first international youth side to feature Arsenal youngsters, with Tyreece John-Jules and Bukayo Saka both receiving call-ups for the side. Folarin Balogun had also been named in the original squad, but he had to pull out with an injury.
With a game against Germany on Monday to think about, Saka and John-Jules were rested from the start against Greece on Thursday. However, they both came off the bench for the final 30 minutes.
Celebrating his 18th birthday that day, Saka made his mark with a pacy run at the defence that won England a penalty for their third goal. The final score was 3-1.
