Arsenal completed a 10-man comeback against Aston Villa on Sunday, coming from behind twice to win the match.
In what should have been a much easier contest than it turned out, Arsenal faced Aston Villa with 10 men for just over half the game. The Gunners were also 1-0 down at the time of the red card, but they drew level through a Nicolas Pepe penalty.
Going behind again moments later, Arsenal had to rally once more and score twice in the final 10 minutes to win the game.
Arsenal posted a ‘bench cam’ video of the reactions to all three goals, as well as at the final whistle. You can watch the video below:
You can see the emotions grow with each goal, with the likes of Dani Ceballos and Mesut Özil staying seated for the first two before the third finally gets them on their feet in celebration.
The more eagle-eyed supporters might also have noticed Konstantinos Mavropanos, Emile Smith Rowe and Matt Macey celebrating from behind the bench. The trio weren’t involved on the day, but they still seemed delighted with the win.
It’s great to see the emotion from the group, they need to get some momentum going now.
