Sam Greenwood scored yet another free-kick as he got back amongst the goals on Saturday for the first time since his recent injury, despite a heavy defeat to Brighton.
Arsenal will be very disappointed with the way the game against Brighton went on Saturday. The Gunners lost 6-3, which is never a good result, but what was particularly disappointed was that they conceded within three minutes of every single goal they scored.
Every time they looked to be getting back into the game, they let Brighton kill it again immediately, which is something they certainly need to work on.
There was one positive though, as Greenwood scored his first goal since recovering from injury with a free-kick. Harry Clarke posted a video of the set-piece on Instagram:

Greenwood has made a name for himself converting free-kicks since joining Arsenal. He scored three for his club last season and more for the England youth teams as well. No senior player scored more than two free-kicks for the Gunners in 2018/19.
It’s certainly a good thing to have in your locker, and Greenwood is also very clinical from the penalty spot. He just needs to work with the team to get more open play opportunities and add a few more goals, since the defence are doing the side no favours right now.
