Nelson scored Arsenal’s fourth goal against Nottingham Forest in midweek, after providing an assist for Rob Holding 13 minutes earlier.

It was a great night and an important moment for the youngster, but he seemingly chose to dedicate it to the injured Lacazette. In celebrating his goal, Nelson pulled out a familiar pose in front of the Arsenal fans:

Fans noticed the apparent tribute to Lacazette, before Nelson himself appeared to confirm as much in his Instagram story.

It’s great to see the younger and older players at Arsenal getting along so well. The likes of Nelson, Joe Willock, Bukayo Saka and others will need help from the more experienced professionals at the club as they continue their development, so personal relationships like this are pivotal.

Just as importantly, it’s nice to keep the injured players feeling like part of the squad. Lacazette’s enthusiasm and passion always seems to boost his teammates, so it’s good to return the favour while he’s out.
