Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang appears to be unhappy with his rating on FIFA 20, based on his recent activity on social media.

EA released their player ratings for the new FIFA game this week, and Aubameyang was listed in the top-100 with an overall of 88.

Many pointed out this was the same rating as he’d received last year, and his card actually contained some downgrades to dribbling, passing and physical, whilst the rest of his overall stats stayed the same.

This despite Aubameyang’s 31-goal season playing in a new league, after winning the Golden Boot ahead of a number of players with higher ratings, like Harry Kane (89) and Sergio Aguero (89). Instead, he’s rated on a level with players like Christian Eriksen.

Aubameyang tweeted out that he was “ok” with being rated 88 overall, before continuing “but you guys from EA should explain [to] me some things that I don’t understand”.

In case it wasn’t clear exactly what the striker meant by the tweet, he then went on to retweet all of the below responses:

Aubameyang will just have to go and better himself again to get a better rating next year, or an upgrade in January. With three goals in four games so far in 2019/20, you wouldn’t bet against him doing so.
