Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has got off to a real flyer this season. Leaving aside the Spurs game (which took place in September), Auba scored two league goals in three games during the month of August.

It was his goal against Sean Dyche’s men at the Emirates that topped the Goal of the Month poll and it’s not hard to see why:

Since arriving at Arsenal 584 days ago, the Gabonese forward has scored 44 goals with 12 assists in 69 games – a direct goal involvement rate of 0.81 which is impressive by anyone’s standards.

His rate at Borussia Dortmund was 0.83.
