Nacho Monreal got his Real Sociedad career off to the best possible start by scoring their second goal in a 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid on Saturday.

The former Arsenal man had to wait to make his debut for his new club because of the international break, but when he finally got the chance, boy did he make an impression.

Monreal pounced in the 61st minutes, three minutes after Martin Odegaard had opened the scoring for Real Sociedad, firing home from close range.

At Arsenal, Nacho scored 10 goals, with 20 assists, in 251 games.

Aaron Ramsey, meanwhile, is back to full fitness and was on the bench for Juventus on Saturday as they drew 0-0 in Florence against Fiorentina.
