Kieran Tierney has been getting himself in the good books of Arsenal supporters this week, after a number of nice gestures towards his new fanbase.
The Scottish Sun report that Tierney surprised 15-year-old fan Jack Staniard with an Arsenal shirt after hearing that the teenager had his old top burned with cigarettes. Tierney also sent a letter expressing his sympathy and wishing the youngster well.
Tierney was also in attendance at an Adidas-run fan event this week, signing shirts and playing video games with supporters. After one fan told the player about his fan group Ashburton Army, the defender surprised him with a follow on Twitter:
So I told Kieran Tierney about Ashburton Army yesterday and how I’ve started this campaign and I want him to have a look, and take a look at what I’ve just seen on the ashburtonarmy account, I love this man pic.twitter.com/3pkoT754Em

The left-back has returned to first-team training after initially joining Arsenal carrying a pre-existing injury concern, and he’s also been catching the eye there.
In videos on the Arsenal social media pages, Tierney could be seen energetically flying into tackles and joking around with his new teammates, but the moment that went viral on Twitter was a nutmeg on defender Shkodran Mustafi.

He may not have had the chance to feature on the pitch just yet, but Tierney is already doing everything he can to earn the love of the Arsenal fans.
