Granit Xhaka gave away yet another idiotic penalty against Spurs on Sunday, costing Arsenal all three points with another moment of total footballing madness, but, as we know, this isn’t the first time he’s done that.

Making mistakes is one thing. We all do it. It’s how you learn. Learn not to do that stupid thing again, because being stupid is generally painful in one way or another. Sadly, Xhaka’s stupidity is also sore for us.

If you don’t learn, people start to wonder what’s wrong with you, and so it is with Granit Xhaka.

His brainless dive in on a player from a team famed for falling over in a stiff breeze left Arsenal facing down the barrel of a two-goal deficit. What’s worse, he didn’t even make them have to dive for it.

That penalty was the fifth he’s given away, more than any other active Premier League player according to Swedish TV.

It was also the 11th error leading to a goal since he became an Arsenal idiot three years ago.

As I was looking to double-check how long he’s been with us, I noticed he’s supposedly worth £40.5m.

The way I feel tonight, you’d have to be stupider than Xhaka to pay that for him.
