Arsenal are set to wear their home kit for Sunday’s Premier League clash with Watford at Vicarage Road.

As above, the Premier League have confirmed that Arsenal will wear red for their trip to Watford, whilst the home side will wear their usual yellow and black shirt.

It’s no surprise Arsenal won’t be wearing their own away kit, given it’s also yellow, but that still left the blue third kit as an option. Presumably, the black shorts prevented that possibility, so instead the team will wear red.

In competitive fixtures so far, the team have won one and drawn one in the home kit, though this will be its first outing in a competitive away match.

Watford currently sit rock bottom of the table with a single point from their first four games, so Arsenal will hardly get a better chance to debut the home shirt away from the Emirates Stadium.

Then again, the reappointment of Quique Sanchez Flores as head coach is sure to give the hosts a bit of a boost. There’s also the potential return of Danny Welbeck to face his old side, or Ismaila Sarr to feature against the team he was linked with for so long.

As always in the Premier League, Arsenal can’t take the game for granted.
