Arsenal were handed a very winnable draw today in Nyon, despite being unseeded, as they will face Sparta Praha.

It could have been a lot tougher for the Gunners who will also face an ex-WSL player in the former Doncaster Belles Canadian Kylla Sjoman.

It was a kind draw for all the big sides as they all avoided each other with the exception of Manchester City who will play the side that eliminated them in the Round of 32 last season – Atletico Madrid.

The Spanish champions signed former Arsenal goalie, Sari Van Veenendaal, and former City striker Toni Duggan during the Summer. They are a strong side and City will need to be at their best to qualify.

Should all the favourites go through, the quarter-final ties in the spring with be very tasty.
