Vito Mannone, remember him? He had a few decent games in the Arsenal goal and a load of fans were calling for him to be given the number one shirt.

Now, the 31-year-old plays for Minnesota United in the MLS and against Atlanta conceded this freak own goal in the early hours of the UK morning:

Minnesota ended up losing the US Open Cup game 2-1 with this goal going down as an OG.

Mannone joined Minnesota on loan from Reading back in February and will remain there until the end of 2019.

He has made 31 appearances for the MLS side, conceding 42 goals and keeping nine cleansheets.

At Arsenal, he played 23 times, conceding 27 while keeping six cleansheets.
